Kevin McKidd

Kevin McKidd is a Scottish-born actor and television director. He is best known for his role as Dr. Owen Hunt in the popular medical drama series Grey's Anatomy. McKidd has appeared in various notable film and TV projects, including Danny Boyle's Trainspotting, the 2008 film Made of Honor, the BBC miniseries Anna Karenina, the historical drama series Rome, and the NBC series Journeyman. He has also lent his voice to video games, providing the voice for John 'Soap' MacTavish in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. McKidd has portrayed Poseidon in Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Father Deegan in the Father Ted Christmas special. Born on August 9, 1973, in Elgin, Moray, Scotland, McKidd grew up in a council estate in Elgin and initially worked at the Macallan distillery in Speyside before pursuing his acting career.
