Kim Greist is a retired American actress and model, born on May 12, 1958, in Stamford, Connecticut. She began her career as a professional model in Europe before returning to the United States and making her acting debut in the off-Broadway comedy 'Second Prize: Two Months in Leningrad' in 1983. Greist's first film appearance was in the horror film 'C.H.U.D.' in 1984, followed by notable roles in films such as 'Brazil' (1985), 'Manhunter' (1986), 'Throw Momma from the Train' (1987), and 'Punchline' (1988). She also made a guest appearance in the TV show 'Miami Vice.' Greist's acting career primarily spanned the 1980s and 1990s.
