Brazil is a 1985 sci-fi dystopian dark comedy film directed by Terry Gilliam. The story follows a low-level bureaucrat named Sam Lowry who gets entangled in a world of mistaken identities, mindless bureaucracy, and lies while trying to help a woman he meets in his recurring daydreams.
