    Kotono Mitsuishi is a Japanese actress and narrator, born on December 8, 1967, in Toda, Saitama Prefecture. Raised in Tokyo, she graduated from high school in 1986 and went on to attend the Katsuta Voice Actor's Academy. Mitsuishi made her voice acting debut in 1989 and has since become renowned for her roles in various anime series. She is best known as the voice of Usagi Tsukino in the Sailor Moon series, Misato Katsuragi in Neon Genesis Evangelion, and Boa Hancock in One Piece. Mitsuishi has also lent her voice to characters in Mobile Suit Gundam SEED, Detective Conan, and Suite PreCure. She is currently a freelance actress.
