Kyla Alissa Pratt (born September 16, 1986) is an American actress known for her roles in various movies and TV shows. She gained recognition as the voice of Penny Proud in the Disney Channel animated series, The Proud Family. Pratt also portrayed Breanna Latrice Barnes in UPN's One on One. She appeared in the films Dr. Dolittle and Dr. Dolittle 2, playing the daughter of Eddie Murphy's character, and later starred in the franchise's spin-off series. Other notable film credits include Fat Albert, Hotel for Dogs, and The Proud Family Movie. Pratt has appeared in the series Let's Stay Together and was a part of VH1's Black Ink Crew: Compton. Currently, she is reprising her role as Penny in The Proud Family revival, The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder on Disney+.
