    Kyle Benjamin Gibson (born October 23, 1987) is an American professional baseball pitcher currently playing for the Baltimore Orioles of Major League Baseball (MLB). Gibson began his MLB career in 2013 with the Minnesota Twins and has also played for the Texas Rangers and Philadelphia Phillies. He was drafted by the Twins in the first round of the 2009 MLB Draft. Born in Greenfield, Indiana, to Harold and Sharon Gibson, he attended Greenfield-Central High School. Despite a transfer ruling preventing him from playing for the school's baseball team for one season, Gibson had an impressive high school career and led his team to a sectional championship and regional final.
