Lance Bass

James Lance Bass (born May 4, 1979) is an American singer, dancer, actor, podcaster, film and television producer. He gained fame as the bass singer for the pop boy band NSYNC. Bass starred in the 2001 film On the Line, which he also produced through his company, Bacon & Eggs. He later formed Lance Bass Productions and a music management company, Free Lance Entertainment. Bass made headlines in 2002 when he pursued a seat on a Soyuz space capsule to join the International Space Station mission. However, he was denied a seat after his financial sponsors withdrew. In 2006, Bass publicly came out as gay.
