Leigh Anne Bingham Nash, born June 27, 1976, is an American singer and songwriter known for her role as the lead vocalist of the Christian alternative rock band Sixpence None the Richer and as a member of Fauxliage. She released her debut solo album, Blue on Blue, in August 2006, followed by two more solo albums in 2011 and 2015. Nash has received two Grammy nominations for her work, one for 'Best Pop Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocal' in 1999 and another for 'Best Rock Gospel Album' in 1998. In July 2023, it was announced that Nash would be joining 10,000 Maniacs as their new lead singer. Born in New Braunfels, Texas, Nash began her musical journey as a country singer and guitarist, performing in local cafes and dance halls. She formed Sixpence None the Richer with guitarist Matt Slocum after meeting at a church retreat in the early 1990s.
