Leo Little
Leopold Paul Little (22 February 1892 – 19 November 1956) was an Australian rules footballer who played for Melbourne and University in the Victorian Football League (VFL). Born in Bacchus Marsh, Little attended St Patrick's College in Ballarat. He passed the Junior Public Examination and ranked 18th out of 600 candidates in the Commonwealth Public Service Examination. Little played for University in 1912 and 1913 before moving to Canberra as a member of the Commonwealth Public Service. He married Doris Speck in 1920. Little's football career and academic achievements make him a notable figure in Australian sports history.
