Leslie Schofield (born 12 December 1938) is an English actor known for his role as Jeff Healy in the soap opera EastEnders from 1997 to 2000. He also appeared briefly in EastEnders in 1988 and 1989 as Brian Wicks. In 1977, Schofield portrayed Chief Bast, an Imperial Officer in the film Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. He also featured in the Star Wars Holiday Special, utilizing deleted scenes and stock footage. Schofield's film credits include The Body Stealers (1969), Twinky (1969), Villain (1971), The Ruling Class (1972), The Glitterball (1977), The Wild Geese (1978), Force 10 from Navarone (1978), Silver Dream Racer (1980), and Dead Man's Folly (1986). He has also made appearances in science fiction television shows, including Doctor Who.
