Lexa Doig

Lexa Doig, born Alexandra Doig in Ontario, Canada, is a Canadian actress known for her roles in various science fiction television shows and films. She gained recognition for playing the title role in the popular science fiction series Andromeda from 2000 to 2005. She also portrayed the lead female character, Rowan, in the science fiction-action horror film Jason X, the tenth installment of the Friday the 13th franchise. Since 2015, Doig has appeared in the Aurora Teagarden mystery television film series on the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries channel. Doig's interest in acting began at a young age after watching a production of Porgy and Bess. She has a diverse background, with her mother being a registered nurse from the Philippines and her father being a Canadian engineer of Scottish descent.
