Lisa Deshaun Leslie is an American former professional basketball player. Born on July 7, 1972, Leslie is widely regarded as one of the greatest players in Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) history. She played for the Los Angeles Sparks from 1997 to 2009 and achieved numerous accolades, including three WNBA Most Valuable Player (MVP) awards and two WNBA championships. Leslie was also a four-time Olympic gold medalist, representing the United States. She made history in 2002 as the first player to dunk during a WNBA game. Leslie retired in 2009 and has since become the head coach for Triplets in the BIG3 professional basketball league and a studio analyst for Orlando Magic broadcasts on Bally Sports Florida.
