Louis Cancelmi Biography
Louis Cancelmi (pronounced ; born June 9, 1978) is an American stage and film actor. Known for his frequent performances at the Public Theater, both at their Astor Library home and at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park, Cancelmi has appeared in numerous productions. He gained recognition for his roles in popular TV shows such as Boardwalk Empire, Blue Bloods, and The Irishman. Born in Pittsburgh, Cancelmi's family moved around before settling in Anchorage, which he considers his hometown. He started acting in high school and went on to study theater at Yale College. Cancelmi is married to Elisabeth Waterston, daughter of Sam Waterston, and they reside in the Hudson Valley with their children.
