Louise Brealey, born on March 27, 1979, is an English actress, writer, and journalist. She is also credited as Loo Brealey. Brealey is known for her role as Molly Hooper in Sherlock, Cass in Back, Jude McDermid in Clique, Gillian Chamberlain in A Discovery of Witches, and Donna Harman in Death in Paradise. She was born in Bozeat, Northamptonshire, England, and received a scholarship to attend Kimbolton School. Later, she studied history at Girton College, Cambridge. Brealey has trained at the Lee Strasberg Institute in New York City and with clown teacher Philippe Gaulier in London. In addition to her acting career, she has written reviews and features for several magazines and served as the deputy editor of Wonderland magazine until April 2009.
