Lovie Simone Biography
Lovie Simone Oppong (born November 29, 1998) is an American actress. She is best known for her role as Zora Greenleaf in the Oprah Winfrey Network drama series, Greenleaf. Simone was born and raised in New York City, specifically The Bronx, and later moved to Orange County, New York. She attended Monroe-Woodbury High School and studied at an acting school in New York. Simone's acting career began with a national commercial for JC Penney. In 2016, she joined the cast of Greenleaf as a recurring character, but was later promoted to a series regular. Simone also made her film debut in a supporting role alongside Jennifer.
