Lucas Hedges Biography
Lucas Hedges is an American actor, born on December 12, 1996. He is the son of filmmaker Peter Hedges and studied theater at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. Hedges gained recognition for his supporting role in Wes Anderson's Moonrise Kingdom (2012). However, his breakthrough came in 2016 with his portrayal of a sardonic teenager in Kenneth Lonergan's Manchester by the Sea, for which he received an Academy Award nomination. He has since appeared in various films, including Lady Bird and Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri in 2017. In 2018, Hedges received critical acclaim for his lead role in Boy Erased and made his Broadway debut in The Waverly Gallery.
