Luke Arnold

Luke Arnold is an Australian actor and author known for his portrayal of John Silver in the Starz drama series Black Sails. Born in Adelaide, South Australia, Arnold later moved to Sydney and then Queensland for high school. He began his career as an assistant swordmaster on the film Peter Pan before graduating from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts. Arnold made his film debut in Broken Hill in 2009 and has also appeared on stage in Like Stars in My Hands. His television credits include guest roles in City Homicide and McLeod's Daughters, as well as a recurring role in Winners & Losers. In 2014, Arnold gained further recognition for his performances as Michael Hutchence in INXS: Never Tear Us Apart and as pirate John Silver in Black Sails.
