Macy Gray

Macy Gray, born Natalie Renée McIntyre on September 6, 1967, is an American R&B and soul singer and actress. Known for her raspy voice and Billie Holiday-inspired singing style, Gray has released ten studio albums and received five Grammy Award nominations, winning one. She has appeared in several notable films including Training Day, Spider-Man, Scary Movie 3, Lackawanna Blues, Idlewild, For Colored Girls, and The Paperboy. Gray gained international fame with her hit single "I Try" from her multi-platinum debut album On How Life Is. Originally from Canton, Ohio, Gray began piano lessons at a young age and continues to captivate audiences with her unique musical talent.
