Maliq Johnson

Maliq Akil Johnson (born June 22, 2000) is an American actor known for his role as Jayson Jackson in the Netflix series Grand Army. He was born in Brooklyn and grew up in the Bedford-Stuyvesant area. Maliq attended Cobble Hill School of American Studies and began his acting career with a PediaSure commercial in 2004. He has appeared in various catalogues and advertisements for brands like Verizon, GAP, Target, Pillsbury, Zulily, Macy's, and more. Maliq has also taken acting classes with Opening Act. His film credits include Little Boxes, Little Men, and Knucklehead. Currently, he is based in Queens.
