Ricky follows a thirty-year-old man released after serving time during his teens as he confronts the practical and emotional obstacles of reintegration into society. The film tracks his pursuit of independence, relationships with family and peers, and efforts to rebuild an everyday life while negotiating legal, economic and social barriers.
