Marcia Haufrecht

Marcia Haufrecht is an American actress, playwright, and director. She is also a notable acting teacher and coach, known for her expertise in the field. Haufrecht is a life member of The Actors Studio and a longtime member of The Ensemble Studio Theatre. Additionally, she is the founder and artistic director of The Common Basis Theatre, an Off-Off-Broadway company and venue. Born and raised in Manhattan, Haufrecht attended Performing Arts High School as a dancer. Despite challenges, she made her Off-Broadway debut as an actress at the Cherry Lane Theatre. Haufrecht has had a diverse career in the performing arts and continues to contribute greatly to the industry.
