Mark Harelik

Mark Harelik (born June 5, 1951) is an American actor, playwright, and screenwriter. He was born in Hamilton, Texas, and has had a diverse career in television, film, and stage. Harelik is best known for his role as Dr. Eric Gablehauser in the first season of the television series The Big Bang Theory. He has also appeared in popular TV shows such as Seinfeld, Will & Grace, NCIS, Breaking Bad, and Bones. Additionally, Harelik has acted in films including Election, Jurassic Park III, and For Your Consideration. As a playwright, he gained recognition for his work on The Immigrant, a play based on his own family's history of immigration to Texas.
