Matt Baker

Matt Baker is a British television presenter born on December 23, 1977. He is known for his roles on various popular TV shows. From 1999 to 2006, Baker co-presented the children's show Blue Peter. Since 2009, he has been a co-presenter on BBC One's Countryfile. Additionally, from 2011 to 2020, he appeared on The One Show alongside Alex Jones. Born in Easington, County Durham, Baker grew up in a family with a newsagent's shop and a smallholding. He attended Easington Village School and later moved to Edinburgh to train as an actor at Queen Margaret University. Baker's passion for dance and gymnastics began at a young age, although he had to give up gymnastics due to a diagnosis of anaemia at 14.
