Matthew Needham Biography
Matthew Needham (born April 13, 1984) is a British actor known for his work on stage and screen. He has appeared in popular television series such as Casualty, Endeavour, and Sanditon. Needham's talent and dedication to his craft have earned him numerous accolades, including a nomination for the prestigious Ian Charleson Award in 2011 for his performance in the play Britannicus. In 2022, he joined the cast of the HBO fantasy series House of the Dragon, where he portrays the character Larys Strong. Needham is a graduate of the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, and has performed on stage for renowned theater companies such as the Royal Shakespeare Company, Royal Court Theatre, Royal National Theatre, Almeida Theatre, and Shakespeare's Globe. In addition to his television and stage work, Needham also starred in the critically acclaimed short film Stutterer, which won the Academy Award for Best Live Action Short Film in 2016.
