Maurice Compte

Maurice Compte is an American actor known for his roles in popular TV shows and movies. Born in 1969 in New Orleans, Compte is the son of Cuban migrants. He began his acting career in 1996 with appearances in TV series such as Chicago Hope and Pacific Blue. Compte's early film roles include Before Night Falls and Double Whammy. He gained recognition for his recurring role as Charlie Gutierrez in the series E-Ring and later made guest appearances in shows like Monk and NCIS: Los Angeles. In 2011, Compte portrayed cartel member Gaff in the acclaimed series Breaking Bad, followed by his role as Santiago 'Big Evil' Flores in End of Watch. He gained more prominence as Colonel Carrillo in the Netflix series Narcos. Compte continues to be a versatile actor in both television and film.
