Megan Amram (born September 3, 1987) is an American comedy writer, producer, and performer. She is best known for her work as a co-writer and producer on the NBC series The Good Place. Amram also created and starred in the comedy web series An Emmy for Megan, documenting her pursuit to win an Emmy. Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, Amram is of Jewish heritage. She attended Catlin Gabel School and graduated from Harvard University in 2010. At Harvard, Amram co-wrote two comedic drag shows for the Hasty Pudding Theatricals with her roommate Alexandra Petri. In addition to her television work, Amram is a skilled violinist and appeared as a violinist on an episode of The Good Place.
