Melanie Lynskey

Melanie Jayne Lynskey is a New Zealand actress known for her portrayals of complex women in independent films and television. She gained critical acclaim for her screen debut in Peter Jackson's Heavenly Creatures (1994) at the age of 16, playing murderer Pauline Parker. Lynskey has since appeared in supporting roles in films such as Ever After (1998), But I'm a Cheerleader (1999), and Coyote Ugly (2000). She has also showcased her talent as a character actress in movies like Sweet Home Alabama (2002), Shattered Glass (2003), Flags of Our Fathers (2006), and The Informant! (2009).
