Michael Horse, born Michael James Heinrich on December 21, 1949, is an American actor known for his portrayals of Native American characters in film and television. Horse was born near Tucson, Arizona, and moved to Los Angeles at the age of 10. He made his film debut as Tonto in the 1981 film The Legend of the Lone Ranger. Horse gained recognition for his role as Deputy Hawk in David Lynch's TV series Twin Peaks (1990-91). He has also appeared in films such as Passenger 57 (1992) and House of Cards (1993), as well as the television series The Untouchables (1993).
