Gargoyles
Gargoyles is an animated television series that takes place in both medieval Scotland and present-day New York City. Set in 994 A.D., Goliath and his clan of gargoyles protect a castle in Scotland from attackers. However, they fall under a 1000-year curse and are awakened in present-day New York when the castle is moved there by David Xanatos. The show follows the adventures of Goliath and his fellow gargoyles as they navigate the modern world while still maintaining their medieval instincts and sense of honor.
