Miskel Spillman (September 8, 1897 – March 30, 1992) was a German immigrant and grandmother from New Orleans. She gained recognition as the winner of NBC's late-night variety series Saturday Night Live's 'Anyone Can Host' contest. On December 17, 1977, at the age of 80, she became the oldest host in SNL's history, a record she held for many years. Spillman remains the only non-celebrity to have hosted the program. Her winning entry for the contest humorously mentioned her age and desire for a cheap thrill. Her appearance as host on the Season 3 Christmas episode showcased her comedic talent alongside cast member John Belushi.
