Mitsuo Iwata

Mitsuo Iwata is a Japanese actor, voice actor, and singer, born in Tokorozawa, Saitama. He is known for his roles in various anime series and films. Some of his notable roles include Kaneda in the 1988 anime film Akira, Tetsuya from Outlanders, and Kintaro Oe (Golden Boy). He has been praised for his dedication to his roles, often practicing extensively to perfect the characters' voices. He won the 7th Seiyu Awards for Best Personality in 2013. Mitsuo Iwata has been affiliated with Office Osawa, Across Entertainment, and is currently affiliated with Aoni Production.
