Molly Parker Biography
Molly Parker is a Canadian actress, writer, and director, born on June 30, 1972. She gained critical acclaim for her role as a necrophiliac medical student in the controversial drama Kissed (1996). Parker also starred in the television thriller Intensity (1997) and made her mark in American films with Waking the Dead (2000) and The Center of the World (2001), where she received an Independent Spirit Award nomination. She had lead roles in Max (2002), Pure (2002), and Nine Lives (2005). Parker is best known for her portrayal of Alma Garret in the HBO Western series Deadwood (2004-2006). She has also appeared in The Road (2009) and Dexter (2011).
