Molly Shannon

Molly Helen Shannon is an American actress and comedian, born on September 16, 1964. She gained prominence as a cast member on NBC's Saturday Night Live from 1995 to 2001. Shannon's talent was recognized in 2017 when she won the Film Independent Spirit Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Other People. She has appeared in various supporting roles in films including Happiness (1998), A Night at the Roxbury (1998), Never Been Kissed (1999), How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000), and Wet Hot American Summer (2001). Shannon reprised her character in the Wet Hot American Summer miniseries in 2015 and 2017. She has lent her voice to animated films such as Igor (2008) and the Hotel Transylvania series (2012–2022).
