    Monty Hall Biography
    Monty Hall (born Monte Halparin; August 25, 1921 – September 30, 2017) was a Canadian radio and television show host. He moved to the United States in 1955 to pursue a career in broadcasting and found success as a game show host and producer. Hall was best known for hosting and producing the game show Let's Make a Deal, which started in 1963. He had a significant impact on the field of game theory and psychology with the Monty Hall problem named after him. Behind the scenes, Hall was also actively involved in philanthropy. Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, he graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry.
