    Nathan James Sykes (born 18 April 1993) is an English singer and actor. He is best known as a member of the boy band The Wanted. In 2013, Sykes and his bandmates appeared in the reality television series The Wanted Life on the E! channel. Following the band's hiatus in 2014, Sykes pursued a solo career. His debut single, 'Kiss Me Quick,' was released in July 2015 and reached number-one on the US Dance Club Songs chart. Sykes was born in Gloucester to Harry and Karen Sykes. He attended Sylvia Young Theatre School and Ribston Hall High School sixth form. Sykes began singing at the age of six and has won various competitions throughout his career.
