Neve McIntosh

Neve McIntosh, born Carol McIntosh on April 9, 1972, is a Scottish actress. She grew up in Edinburgh and attended Boroughmuir High School. McIntosh was a member of the Edinburgh Youth Theatre in the late 1980s and later attended the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in Glasgow. She has performed in various stage productions including The Barber of Seville and Great Expectations. McIntosh is known for her television and film roles, including appearances in Doctor Who, Lip Service, and Gormenghast. She has also performed in the Sylvia Plath play Three Women at the Edinburgh Festival. McIntosh's grandfather was captured during World War II and died in a German prisoner-of-war camp in Poland.
