Savelina Fanene, born May 29, 1984, is an Australian-born American professional wrestler known by her ring name Nia Jax. She gained prominence as a performer for WWE, where she was signed in 2014 and initially assigned to the NXT brand. Making her debut in May 2015 as Zada, she later adopted the ring name Nia Jax in August of the same year. With WWE, she achieved notable success, becoming a one-time Raw Women's Champion and a two-time WWE Women's Tag Team Champion alongside Shayna Baszler. After a brief departure from WWE in 2021, she returned to the company in September, following an appearance at the Royal Rumble in January 2023. Born in Sydney, Australia and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, Savelina Fanene has German and Samoan heritage and is the second cousin once removed of Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson through her father.
