Nicole Camille Richie (Escovedo; born September 21, 1981) is an American television personality, fashion designer, and actress. She gained fame through her appearance in the reality TV series The Simple Life from 2003 to 2007, alongside her childhood friend Paris Hilton. Following the conclusion of The Simple Life, she continued her television career, serving as a judge on the reality competition series Fashion Star from 2012 to 2013.
