Nikolaj Coster-Waldau

Nikolaj William Coster-Waldau is a Danish actor and producer, born on July 27, 1970. He gained recognition in Denmark for his role in the film Nightwatch (1994) after graduating from the Danish National School of Performing Arts in 1993. Coster-Waldau is best known for portraying Jaime Lannister in the HBO fantasy drama series Game of Thrones, earning two Primetime Emmy Award nominations. He has appeared in various films in Denmark and Scandinavia, including Headhunters (2011) and A Thousand Times Good Night (2013). In the U.S, he made his debut in the war film Black Hawk Down (2001) and later appeared in the Fox television series New Amsterdam (2008). Coster-Waldau is a UNDP Goodwill Ambassador, advocating for gender equality and climate change.
