Norio Wakamoto

Norio Wakamoto (若本 規夫) is a Japanese voice actor affiliated with Sigma Seven talent agency. Born in Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi Prefecture, he was raised in Sakai, Osaka Prefecture, and graduated from Waseda University. Wakamoto initially worked as a police officer in the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department's Anti-Riot Squad before pursuing a career in voice acting. Known for his astringent and sharp voice, he often portrays villainous characters in dubs and games. Some notable roles include Oskar von Reuenthal in Legend of the Galactic Heroes, Barbatos Goetia in Tales of Destiny 2, Charles zi Britannia in Code Geass, and Cell in Dragon Ball Z, among others.
