She gained recognition for her role as Remy 'Thirteen' Hadley on the medical-drama series House from 2007 to 2012. Wilde has appeared in films such as Tron: Legacy (2010), Cowboys & Aliens (2011), The Incredible Burt Wonderstone (2013), and The Lazarus Effect (2015). In 2017, she made her Broadway debut in 1984. Wilde directed her first film, the teen comedy Booksmart (2019), which won her the Independent Spirit Award for Best First Feature.
