Omari Newton

Omari Akil Newton is a Canadian actor best known for his roles as Larry Summers in the TV series Blue Mountain State and Lucas Ingram in Continuum. Born and raised in Montreal, Newton's parents were immigrants from Trinidad and Tobago. He attended Beaconsfield High School where he excelled in sports as well as drama. Newton pursued his passion for acting by taking drama courses at Concordia University and attending the National Theatre School of Canada. He began his career in the Montreal theatre scene and later moved to Vancouver where he continued to work in theatre. Newton is also a co-founder of Boldskool Productions.
