Owen Hart Biography
Owen James Hart (May 7, 1965 – May 23, 1999) was a Canadian professional wrestler who gained prominence in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF). Born in Calgary, Alberta, he was the youngest of twelve children of Stampede Wrestling promoters Stu and Helen Hart. Hart wrestled for various promotions including Stampede Wrestling, New Japan Pro-Wrestling, World Championship Wrestling, and WWF. Known for his in-ring skills, he held numerous titles including the USWA Unified World Heavyweight Champion, WWF Intercontinental Champion, WWF European Champion, and WWF World Tag Team Champion. Hart headlined multiple WWF pay-per-view events and was considered one of the company's top performers. Tragically, he passed away during his entrance from the rafters of Kemper Arena in Kansas City on May 23, 1999.
