Pamela Salem Biography
Pamela Fortunee Salem (born 22 January 1944) is a British film and television actress of Anglo-Indian descent. Born in Bombay, India, Salem received her education at Heidelberg University in Germany and later at the Central School of Speech and Drama in London, England. She is well-known for her co-starring role as the evil witch Belor in the early 1980s ITV children's fantasy series Into the Labyrinth and her guest role as Joanne Francis, a shady mafia affiliate, in the late 1980s BBC soap opera EastEnders. Salem has also appeared in two adventures of Doctor Who: The Robots of Death (1977) and Remembrance of the Daleks (1988). She has reprised her role for the audio drama series Counter Measures by Big Finish Productions.
