    Paul Latham Biography
    Paul Latham, born on April 22, 1905, was a British Conservative Party politician and Member of Parliament (MP) for Scarborough and Whitby constituency from 1931 to 1941. He was the son of Sir Thomas Paul Latham and Florence Clara Latham (née Walley). Latham received his education at Eton College and Magdalen College, Oxford. Prior to his political career, he served as a member of the London County Council from 1928 to 1934, representing Lewisham East as a member of the Conservative-backed Municipal Reform Party. Latham also stood as a Conservative candidate in Rotherham during the 1929 general election. Despite being ex during World War II, he continued his political career until his resignation in 1941.
