Paul Nicholas

Paul Nicholas (born Paul Oscar Beuselinck on 3 December 1944) is an English actor and singer. He started his career in pop music and later transitioned to musical theatre. In 1972, he gained recognition for his role as the lead in 'Jesus Christ Superstar' at the West End's Palace Theatre. Nicholas returned to the pop charts in the 1970s before delving into acting. He is best known for his role in the 1983 BBC sitcom 'Just Good Friends,' which won a BAFTA and earned him a nomination for best comedy performance. Nicholas has also appeared in various musical theatre productions and has taken on entertainment roles such as producing and directing. He is also recognized for his television role in 'EastEnders' as Gavin Sullivan.
