Paul Scheer

Paul Christian Scheer is an American comedian, actor, filmmaker, and podcaster. He was born on January 31, 1976, in Huntington, New York, to Gail Ann and William Paul Scheer. Scheer attended Catholic schools and graduated from St. Anthony's High School. He began his acting career by performing with the New York-based improv group Chicago City Limits. Scheer is best known for his roles in FX/FXX's The League and Showtime's Black Monday. He also co-created and starred in MTV's Human Giant and Adult Swim's NTSF:SD:SUV::. Additionally, he has had recurring roles on ABC's Fresh Off the Boat and HBO's Veep. Scheer is also a co-host of the film discussion podcasts How Did This Get Made? and Unspooled.
