Paula Jai Parker

Paula Jai Parker is an American actress known for her supporting roles in films such as Friday (1995), Sprung (1997), and Hustle & Flow (2005). She has also appeared in television sitcoms including The Wayans Bros. (1995-1996), Family Time (2012-2019), and Hollywood Divas (2014-2016). Parker is recognized for her voice work as Trudy Proud in the Disney Channel animated series The Proud Family (2001-2005) and its 2022 reboot, The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder. Born in Farmington, Michigan, Parker studied at Howard University in Washington, D.C., before moving to New York City to pursue her acting career.
