Peter Facinelli Biography
Peter Facinelli (born November 26, 1973) is an American actor known for his roles in various movies and TV shows. He played Donovan 'Van' Ray on the Fox series Fastlane from 2002 to 2003 and portrayed Dr. Carlisle Cullen in the film adaptations of the Twilight novel series. Facinelli gained recognition for his role as Mike Dexter in the 1998 film Can't Hardly Wait. He also appeared as Dr. Fitch 'Coop' Cooper in the Showtime comedy-drama series Nurse Jackie. In addition, Facinelli portrayed Maxwell Lord on the first season of the TV series Supergirl. He studied acting at New York University and the Atlantic Theater Company Acting School in New York City.
