Peter Kenneth Frampton is an English guitarist, singer, and songwriter. Born on April 22, 1950, in Beckenham, Kent, Frampton rose to fame as a member of the rock bands the Herd and Humble Pie. He later achieved significant success as a solo artist, releasing several albums, including the live release Frampton Comes Alive! in 1976. This album produced hit singles and earned 8× Platinum by the RIAA in the United States. Frampton is known for his classic rock hits such as 'Show Me the Way', 'Baby, I Love Your Way', 'Do You Feel Like We Do', and 'I'm in You'. He has also collaborated with notable musicians like Ringo Starr, John Entwistle of the Who, David Bowie, and members of Pearl Jam. In addition to his music career, Frampton has made appearances as himself in popular television shows like The Simpsons, Family Guy, and Madam Secretary.
